Remember To Buy Locally

As we jump feet first into Spring with Summer not too far behind, we think about the transition of local business and what it means in to our community. We’ll soon be saying goodbye to skiing and snowboarding and hello to fly fishing and golf. We’ll shift from evenings at home cozied up by the fire and into longer and warmer days ahead, dining and playing outside. While many of us make a point to leave during the shoulder season following the winter wrap-up, when we return we should remember how important it is to support our local community by buying locally and supporting our local businesses as they ramp up for Summer. Breck Snowflake Challenge Results & Photos

December 5-11 was a week of snow sculpting celebration on Main Street in Breckenridge, where 18 local teams came together to create some awe-inspiring sculptures for the public to see and competed to win a cash prize of $1,500 for the winning team. In its 3rd year, this year's event was the most successful to date with so many beautiful sculptures coming to life throughout town. You can still view many of the sculptures over the next couple days.
