The bigger and better Dew Tour will feature the world’s top freestyle skiers and snowboarders as they converge in Breckenridge to kick off the first major event of the winter action sports season. The only winter event of the 2012 Dew Tour will feature more competitions, including ski and snowboard Big Air, as well as a Film Night and concert that will take over downtown Breckenridge. In its 4th year of showcasing the world’s top freeski and snowboard athletes competing in slopestyle and superpipe events, the Winter Dew Tour kicks off its nationwide tour once again at Breckenridge Ski Resort from December 15-18, 2011.  The Winter Dew Tour consists of three major, multi-sport events spanning across the country, with a cumulative points system and a $1.5 million competitive purse. Each event features snowboard and freeskiing competitors in slopestyle and superpipe events. At season’s end, the overall point’s leaders are crowned year-end champions and awarded the prestigious Dew Cup. Public events complement the competitions, including the Festival Village, specialty competitions, and live music and parties in town. Boasting the largest media platform in all of winter action sports, The Winter Dew Tour will be televised live on NBC, with additional domestic and international programming reaching more than 200 million households worldwide.  More details about...
