U.S. Pro Cycling Challenge Recap - Breckenridge Stage 5 Finish

We can't get enough of the hype and fun and excitement surrounding the inaugural U.S. Pro Cycling Challenge. What an honor it was for Breckenridge to be selected to host such an important finish in the race and on a Saturday, a peak viewing day of the race. We're pretty sure the cyclists had to enjoy race day into Breckenridge more than any other day. In fact, here's what race winner Levi Leipheimer had to say about Breckenridge and this important day in the race in the video clip below.



Did you have a chance to enjoy the U.S. Pro Cycling event yourself? What did you think? Did you see Breckenridge in all its glory as spectators lined the streets from Silverthorne to Dillon to Swan Mountain Road and into Breckenridge Main Street? We tried to live in the moment and enjoy the finish of this monumental race as they came into Breckenridge. But, we managed to grab a couple of shots when the racers came through as we and everyone else watched in awe. What a great day for a cycling event in Breckenridge! What a great race for Colorado! We are already looking forward to next year's race and what it will bring.

Local Real Estate Statistics: October 2013 versus October 2012

Fall was another great month for real estate here in Summit County and Breckenridge. Breckenridge Statistics In Breckenridge, fall time was still showing momentum for the real estate market.  There were 22 single family homes sold in the month of October.  At the end of October, the single family market was up almost 12% compared to the same time as last year.  The condo market has been doing fantastic this year.  In the month of October, 38 condos sold in Breckenridge.  The condo market is ahead almost 50% compared to last year.  Three duplexes and 9 townhomes sold last month compared to only 5 duplexes and 4 townhomes in October 2012.  As of November 7th, there were 88 pending residential properties in Breckenridge.  Although the number of transactions and dollar volume are increasing year over year, the average sales price continue to remain steady or in some cases, decline.  At the end of October, the average sales price for a condo in Breckenridge is remaining stable at 4.35%
