New Year's Eve Happenings in Breckenridge & Summit County

There's really not a better place to kick off the new decade than in Summit County. Depending on where you are and where you want to be, we've put together a list of some of the happenings in the area for New Year's Eve celebrations.
Breckenridge
Yamn, formerly of Breckenridge, Colorado is bringing their annual New Year's Eve show to the Riverwalk Performing Arts Center for an all ages show. Ring in the New Year in the heart of Breckenridge listening to great music. For more info. about Yamn click here . Doors open at 7pm and the show begins at 8pm. The Town of Breckenridge New Year's Eve fireworks will be visible from right outside the venue at 9pm and the band will take a quick break to enjoy the fireworks. Tickets are available at all Yamn Performances, Space Cowboy in Breckenridge, Colorado and Affordable Music in Dillon, Colorado, as well as online by clicking here . Beverages available, tickets are general admission.
Torchlight Parade & Fireworks
Enjoy the Breckenridge tradition at 6pm as skiers and boarders from the Breckenridge Ski Resort kick off New Year's Eve with a dazzling luminary procession, parading from the top of Peak 9 down American to The Village at Breckenridge. Take in the best views of this parade are from anywhere you can see Peak 9. Then, time for the fireworks at 9pm. This year’s fireworks display is in a new location between Peak 8 and 9. This new location will have a better view from town for the fireworks than previous years, and with clear skies, these fireworks can be seen from most locations in downtown Breckenridge. Enjoy!
Keystone Resort
Enjoy family fun in the Lakeside Village at Keystone!
6pm, Fireworks display in Lakeside Village
5:30-10pm, Ice Skating Party at Keystone Adventure Center
Bring the whole family to the Keystone Ice Rink and enjoy snacks, sodas and hot chocolate while skating with Frosty.
9:30pm-1am, FUNKIPHINO downstairs at Keystone Adventure Center
$20 advance purchase, $25 at the door. Must be 21 years of age.
Ring in 2010 with Colorado’s most popular funk band. Funkphino is sure to get you on your feet and dancing to covers of popular funk and soul songs. Adrenaline pumping entertainment, all your friends, a little fresh snow and a fireworks finale equals a New Year’s Eve Celebration not to be forgotten.

6:20pm, Kaivalya Hoop Dancers Fire Performance at West Lake Overlook
