The Winter Dew Tour Kicks Off In Breckenridge, Colorado – December 17

Back for a second year, the Winter Dew Tour will once again begin its 3-stop series at the Breckenridge Ski Resort. This not-to-miss tour consists of 3 major, multi-sport events spanning across the U.S., with a cumulative points system, and a $1.5 million competitive cash purse. Each stop of the tour features men's and women's snowboard (superpipe and slopestyle), and men’s freeskiing (superpipe and slopestyle).

The Winter Dew Tour will be broadcast live on NBC Sports from 11:30am-2pm, Saturday, December 19 and 2-4pm, Sunday, December 20 with additional competition and lifestyle broadcasts on USA, MTV and MTV2 and is also distributed on Fuel TV, Universal HD, Rush HD, and internationally on Eurosport, Fox Australia, Extreme Channel and Allarco Superchannel.

All competition courses and the Festival Village locations are at Peak 8 at the Breckenridge Ski Resort. Peak 8 can be accessed by taking the BreckConnect gondola to the Peak 8 base from Breckenridge Station in town. Access the courses by skiing or riding - you can take Chair 5 to 4 O’Clock to Freeway. Or, access the courses by hiking - start at the base of Peak 8 by the BreckConnect gondola.

BreckConnect Gondola Hours: Everyday 8am-5pm (open until 9pm on Saturday 12/19). Closed Runs: Twister and Freeway (Freeway open for viewing.)

Local Real Estate Statistics: October 2013 versus October 2012

Fall was another great month for real estate here in Summit County and Breckenridge. Breckenridge Statistics In Breckenridge, fall time was still showing momentum for the real estate market.  There were 22 single family homes sold in the month of October.  At the end of October, the single family market was up almost 12% compared to the same time as last year.  The condo market has been doing fantastic this year.  In the month of October, 38 condos sold in Breckenridge.  The condo market is ahead almost 50% compared to last year.  Three duplexes and 9 townhomes sold last month compared to only 5 duplexes and 4 townhomes in October 2012.  As of November 7th, there were 88 pending residential properties in Breckenridge.  Although the number of transactions and dollar volume are increasing year over year, the average sales price continue to remain steady or in some cases, decline.  At the end of October, the average sales price for a condo in Breckenridge is remaining stable at 4.35%
