New Year's Eve in Breckenridge, Colorado

Schedule of Events:

5pm-10pm - LIVE COVERAGE FROM TIMES SQUARE ON "BRECKVISION"
A giant TV screen generously donated by the Breckenridge Ski Resort will be located in the Blue River Plaza downtown for people to gather and watch while celebrating the ball dropping in New York City’s Times Square … Mountain Style!

5pm - KIDS GLOWWORM
Breckenridge Ski Resort is giving kids the chance to enact their own mini-torch light parade before the big event! Come on over to Peak 9 to have your kids take part in this free event, skiing down a green run with glow sticks!

6pm - THE TORCH LIGHT PARADE
The torch light parade is a Breckenridge tradition. Breckenridge Ski Resort employees ski and board from the top of Peak 9, down American, to The Village at Breckenridge, all while holding torches blazing down the mountain. What a beautiful sight this is!

7pm - YAMN NEW YEAR'S EVE CONCERT
Yamn, a band formerly of Breckenridge, is bringing back their New Year's Eve show to the Riverwalk Center for an all ages concert. Ring in the New Year in the heart of Breckenridge listening to great music, with 3 sets of Yamn. Doors will open at 7pm and the show will begin at 8pm. Opening band will be the Shook Twins, a beautiful folk rock band from Portland, OR. Tickets are $20 in advance / $25 day of and can be purchased at (970) 547-3100 or townofbreckenridge.com

9pm - FIREWORKS SHOW
New Year's Eve fireworks will be launched from the mountain between Peak 8 and 9. This provides a better view from Town of this beautiful fireworks display which uses the beautiful peaks of Breckenridge Ski Resort as a backdrop. The fireworks show is viewable from almost anywhere in town.
