Breckenridge Associates Partners Rob Neyland and Pete Deininger have a little chat by the fireplace, lamenting the somewhat sudden changing of the seasons in Breckenridge.  Well now, ski season is upon us.  Gear up!  

This ski season "HIGH TECH" is coming to the ski slopes.  And I'm not talking about the latest in skis >  it literally makes it easier and more fun> rocker technology will definitely blow your hair back. Now, I'm talking really HIGH TECH.  The ultimate in "BIG BROTHER IS WATCHING'!!  HOW about the new mobile apps and RFID scanners that will conveniently track your every run up and down the hill.!   At the end of the day, join in with your "friends" on FACEBOOK who can all re-live your exploits, via GEO PHOTOS, VAIL's EPIC MIX Mobile and online application.  Did you keep track?  How many runs, how much vertical, did we do every run on Peak 10? Now, THERE'S AN APP FOR THAT.  awesome dude.

Local Real Estate Statistics: October 2013 versus October 2012

Fall was another great month for real estate here in Summit County and Breckenridge. Breckenridge Statistics In Breckenridge, fall time was still showing momentum for the real estate market.  There were 22 single family homes sold in the month of October.  At the end of October, the single family market was up almost 12% compared to the same time as last year.  The condo market has been doing fantastic this year.  In the month of October, 38 condos sold in Breckenridge.  The condo market is ahead almost 50% compared to last year.  Three duplexes and 9 townhomes sold last month compared to only 5 duplexes and 4 townhomes in October 2012.  As of November 7th, there were 88 pending residential properties in Breckenridge.  Although the number of transactions and dollar volume are increasing year over year, the average sales price continue to remain steady or in some cases, decline.  At the end of October, the average sales price for a condo in Breckenridge is remaining stable at 4.35%
